Farmers Market and Peekskill Images

This past weekend was the second weekend that the local Farmer's Market began in the center of Peekskill. Not only are the vegetables super fresh, they are delicious too! Here are just some of the recent photos I have taken in and around the Farmer's Market.

Now this adorable little toddler was obviously super cute in all her pink glory, I had to simply ask her Granny if I could take a photo of her!




The produce available is not only super fresh, but the quality is superb! Also available are artisan breads, amazing mushrooms, pickles, pies and so much more.

Later on the same night, I took these photos in the evening for Peekskill's Relay Cancer Walk where over $65,000 was raised - It was a great benefit and so many people came out to support.

Abstract in Nature Trees with Snow

Double click on image to see larger image. I certainly love abstracts in nature - this one interested me due to the simple fact the tree limbs look like some odd pile of worms or paths or even like a close up of something fibrous in a microscope.

Today I was out walking the dog, and took this quick shot.... it's so pretty lately with all the snow, I was surprised that the snow stayed on the trees through the night...

This pretty shot was taken near Lancaster, PA. It was a huge field, with one single tree standing along with an impressive sun just starting to set.

Today's Daily Image for January 9th, 2008

I took this the other day when it was nearly 60 degrees here in Westchester, New York. This photo is from Verplank, NY with the sun obviously getting ready to sit down for the night. I took a whole bunch actually of different images from this shore, from ice floating on the river melting into the still Hudson River waters to images of the boats up and out of the water for the season. It was all very surreal since the Hudson River is usually active with its tides and small waves and on occasion whitecaps that flank the large body of water.
